Brian- Head Guide/Owner

Since 2005, Brian has been guiding customers down the North Platte River.  His passion began at a young age, fly fishing with his father. He started guiding in is early twenties on the dude ranches in Walden, Colorado on the headwaters of the North Platte River, and wade fishing on ranches in the hay fields of North Park. Soon after, he got his permits to start Trout Tamers in the Saratoga Valley and Grey Reef areas of the North Platte watershed where he primarily floats 8 hr sections of river. Brian and his wife, Mary, would spend winters in Southern Chile managing a fishing lodge during the Northern winter. Him and his wife have been traveling to Patagonia for 20 years during their winters where they have a house along the Futaleufu River. Trout Tamers guides clients of all ages and levels of fly fishing; from beginner to expert and young to old. Brian runs two businesses with his wife, Mary, Trout Tamers and Turf Tamers Landscaping. They live in Northern Colorado with their two young kids.
